Hello , my name is Amber. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), a working woman, dog mom of three adorable furry boys, and wife to a wonderful, loving husband of 15 years!
I grew up a “military brat” (God bless our military and vets!) spending most of my childhood moving around and of all the places I lived I loved Oregon the most! I LOVE to travel and to explore new places. I enjoy a good book (when I have the time), having the occasional glass of red wine (somedays its needed more than others) and enjoy the simple things in life. I am an outdoorsy person, who also enjoys organic gardening.
I was born in a small town outside of Philadelphia. I now reside in Virginia but frequently travel up to Pennsylvania to visit family and friends.
My family means the world to me and without their support I wouldn’t be where I am today!!
When I was young, I wanted to be a marine biologist (that’s the Oregonian in me and my love of the water). As I grew older, I developed a passion/love for art and photography which began when I started oil painting at the age of 7. This passion grew so much I decided to major in Art when I started college.
Like most, while attending college I needed a job and it just so happened my dentist at the time needed a new assistant and hired me. Thankfully, he was willing to teach me the ins and outs of being a dental assistant while also being flexible enough to work around my college schedule…thus beginning my journey into dental. LONG story short, I ended up switching majors from Art to Dental Hygiene, got accepted into a dental program, and thus began my career as a Dental Hygienist.
Don’t get me wrong I still love art and photography. After college, to fulfill some of these passions while I worked full time as a Dental Hygienist, I also worked as a photographer’s assistant shooting weddings and other events.

After many twists and turns in my life’s journey it lead me to the dental field, and I now have over twenty years of experience in the dental profession. Despite all this time working in dental I still enjoy helping and educating patients.
Now you know a little about me and my life. I hope you follow along as I share my knowledge, experiences, and opinions regarding dental health, wellness, and products I think are really important!!
